                                                                LIVING VALUE:RESPECT

Dear Parents / Caregivers

Thank you to all our parents who showed their understanding and support for our teachers in this difficult time. It means a great deal to us.Tuesday's strike was in solidarity with other teachers less fortunate than ourselves. School will continue as normal whatever the unions decide, provided there is no security or safety risk to our learners.

THE SCHOOL COMMUNICATOR:
This is an easy way to receive direct information from the school. Often paper newsletters are thrown out with the lunch and don't reach the parent. If you have access to the internet this tool will help you keep in touch with the exciting things that are happening at Saxonwold. The disc can be collected from the class teacher.

My sincere apologies go to all the Muslim Class reps, I organized a Club Family meeting without taking cognisance of the fact that it was the night before the start of Ramadaan. We noted your apologies and will convene a further meeting on the 28th August at 09H00, where the planning for the Big Walk will be discussed.

To all our Muslim families we wish you well during the fast.

Congratulations to two of our learners, Arushan Padayachee in Grade 4 and Zidaan Habib in Grade 5.They came first in our Cluster in the Maths Challenge. They have now moved on to the District challenge. Good luck!
