Welcome back to the 2^nd term with lots of new things to learn and Winter sports to play.

To our new families, welcome to the Saxonwold Community.

It was pleasing to note the large number of parents who attended Parents' Evening at the end of last term. Please remember to sign the receipt letter for the report and return it to the Class Teacher.

UNIFORM AND LOST PROPERTY

The climate is on the turn, cooler weather is being felt especially in the early morning. Please make sure your child is dressed in the correct WINTER uniform. Mark your children's clothing with their name clearly on each item of clothing. If your child's clothing is not marked we cannot return lost items. At R450.00 a tracksuit it is worth taking 5 minutes to write the name in. Unclaimed lost property goes to the swop shop. Kindly inform the office a.s.a.p should your child have lost an item in order for us to search for it.

TIMETABLE

Please note that school starts at 07H50 sharp. We find that there are many learners who are arriving late. There will always be traffic congestion, so plan your time to allow for this.

The extramural timetable has been distributed. Please go through this with your child and help him/her to select at LEAST one physical activity per week.

NB: Learners who are left on the pavement after extramurals will be enrolled into Aftercare at the expense of the parent.

BIG WALK

Please diarise the 4 JUNE for our annual Big Walk. We have some very exciting activities planned for that day. A letter to this effect will be sent to you.

The Sponsor forms have been sent out. Please note that a lost sponsor form is equal to a cash value of R300.00.

Please lobby for prizes at your companies and send them to the office.

SAXONWOLD SCHOOL SUPPORTER T-SHIRTS

Our drive to market our school is still continuing and we would like to advise that the school supporter T-shirt is still on order. Place your orders via email, at the office or with the order form and you may even pay the T-shirt money into the school bank account. Quote "SAX T-shirt" as your reference. Send proof of payment and the order form to Mrs Varie at judi@saxonwoldprimary.co.za or fax to 0866111823. Help Club Family raise funds for the school and at the same time be proud Saxonwold Family members.
