LIVING VALUE FOR AUGUST: RESPECT
Dear Parents / Caregivers
"Life is like Football - it requires perseverance, self-discipline, hard work, sacrifice, dedication and respect for authority". I think sports and games give us as adults the ideal tool to teach our children about "rules of the game and respect for these rules". This eventually can underpin a respect for the law.
We've been hit by another very cold spell; please ensure that your child / children is / are collected timeously after school. Yesterday in hail and rain many children who are not in Aftercare were left to fend for themselves. As much as we would want to, the school cannot take responsibility for these children after school hours. It is the Parents' responsibility.
PROGRESS REPORTS These were handed out on the 28th July. Please return all confirmation slips to the class teacher urgently. I apologise for not signing all the Grade 5H reports. If parents require my signature please return the report to the class teacher and I will sign them. There was also a miscalculation of the Grade 7 E.M.S. and Arts and Culture marks. These have been corrected and new reports issued. My sincere apologies for our error.
